Basically, I think the whole Malaysian education system is screwed. Students are spoonfed and are not given the opportunity to be involved in class whether in open discussions or in critical thinking. The failure to inculcate this habit has left our students with no desire to know and question on what goes around.

When they reach tertiary levels, this habit is carried on and they merely study to pass or excel in exams but this unfortunately is not in par with their practical abilities. Graduating with 1st class honours doesn't necessarily mean you can do the job well. It just means you did well in school and secured yourself a good salary.

Maybe yes at a certain point, students have to learn by themselves and acquire what is necessary on their own to prepare for their future careers in their respective fields but if it's only our students with the problem... is it really our fault?
